Velveteen Dream made his return to NXT and he competed in a triple threat match.
Fightful Select reports that the return of Velveteen Dream was kept private, and most wrestlers only found out about it a few minutes before the show.
It’s also being reported that there has long been significant heat on Velveteen Dream for behavioral issues and what people perceive as “preferential treatment” in situations where other talents would have been fired.
This was also said to be the case with his return, as WWE has taken no disciplinary action nor has the company provided an update on the sexual assault allegations against Dream.
