TNA Impact Wrestling Results 3/27/2014
The show opens with MVP, Magnus and Abyss in the ring. MVP makes a TNA World Heavyweight Championship match for next week featuring Samoa Joe, Magnus and Abyss in a triple threat match. Samoa Joe doesn’t like it, he wants a one on one match so he gets in MVP’s face. Joe attacks Magnus, Abyss attacks Joe, MVP attacks Abyss and then Eric Young comes out and attacks Abyss. It becomes a bit of a clusterfuck.
They go to commercial then come back with only MVP, Joe and Eric Young in the match. Eric Young demands to be put in the title match so he can fight off Abyss. MVP makes it a fatal four way. Samoa Joe is pissed. Joe and Young brawl.
Bully Ray talks shit about Bobby Roode to the camera backstage.
MVP talks to The Wolves backstage, they want a match against Magnus and Abyss. MVP makes the match for tonight.
The Wolves Vs. Magnus And Abyss
Eddie Edwards makes Magnus tap out to a half crab. Magnus walks up the ramp Abyss stares at the world title.
Angelina Loves comes out to major heat. She calls out Velvet Sky. Velvet is pissed because Angelina attacked Madison Rayne last week. They talk shit to each other for a while. Angelina tells Velvet to pick a side then leaves.
Rockstar Spud and EC3 are walking around the woods looking for Willow. It’s a pretty terrible segment. Willow appears out of nowhere and kidnaps Spud.
Bully Ray and a bunch of fans bring out tables and set them up around the ring. Bobby Roode comes out and stands at the top of the ramp. Bobby and Bully talk shit to each other for a while. Bobby tries to leave, Bully chases him down. They brawl and then Bobby puts Bully through a table and leaves.
Abyss goes into Magnus’ locker room backstage. He’s breathing heavy. He gives the title back to Magnus then yells at him.
We get some terrible backstage segment with Knux (Mike Knox) and Brittany looking at broken down arcade games. They talk about a flood and his dad or something. It’s pretty bad.
Angelina Love Vs. Madison Rayne
Velvet Sky comes to ringside. Velvet DDTs Madison on the outside then throws her back in the ring. Angelina pins her for the win.
Kenny King goes to MVP’s office asking for a match tonight. MVP promises him a match next week.
Eric Young Vs. Samoa Joe
Eric passes out because he won’t tap out when Joe applies the rear naked choke.
James Storm Vs. Gunner – NoDQ Match
Awesome match. Easily the best thing to happen on the show. Gunner hits storm with a beer bottle then his Hangar 18 finisher for the win.
The show ends with another terrible segment which features Willow attacking EC3 in the woods.
