The finals of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Classic took place on Wednesday night and the finals aired live on the WWE Network.
TJ Perkins faced off against Gran Metalik in the finals, and before the match took place, Triple H unveiled the brand new Cruiserweight Championship.
The match was action packed from bell to bell, and both men fought valiantly, but in the end it was TJ Perkins who made Gran Metalik tap out to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. The Cruiserweight division is set to debut on Raw on Monday and TJ Perkins will be debuting on Raw as the new champion.
