Title Changes Hands On GFW Impact, Drew McIntyre Comments On NXT Takeover

This week’s episode of Global Force Wrestling Impact featured an Impact Grand Championship match which saw Moose defend the belt against EC3. In the end it was Ethan Carter III who walked out with the belt after the judges declared him the winner. This is EC3’s first run with the Impact Grand Championship.

Drew McIntyre has had a pretty crazy year. When 2017 kicked off, he was a member of the Impact Wrestling roster, but the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion decided to part ways with the company and explore other opportunities. He took a chance on himself and signed with NXT, and it looks like he made the right call.

At NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III on August 19, Drew McIntyre will be challenging Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship. Drew recently took to Twitter to comment on the event saying that all roads in his career have led to NXT Takeover.
