The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar have put on some classic matches inside a WWE ring, but there was once a time when Brock Lesnar was heavily involved in MMA and it didn’t seem like he had much interest in a WWE return. At UFC 121 in 2010 Brock Lesnar came face to face with The Undertaker who was being interviewed by Ariel Helwani, and when Taker asked Brock, “You wanna do it?”
The confrontation got a lot of people talking and Undertaker later clarified that he had been sent there to pick a fight with Brock Lesnar, but he didn’t know that Dana White wasn’t aware the planned altercation was going to happen. Recently The Undertaker went into more detail during an appearance on Hawk vs. Wolf and he explained that Dana White was not happy.
“Unbeknownst to Vince or myself, Dana had no clue what was going on. We weren’t aware of the fact that Dana did not know that I was going to do that. He was not happy. Some guy from the WWE is challenging his biggest draw, but we thought he was on board with it.”
Even though the confrontation confused a lot of people at the time Brock Lesnar ultimately returned to WWE in 2012. He went on to win numerous world titles becoming a 10 time world champion overall and is still featured as one of the top stars in the company to this day.
