Business has certainly picked up in the world or professional wrestling over the last few weeks, and it’s been rumored that several WWE Superstars requested to be released.
It was reported that The Revival asked to be released because they were unhappy with the state of the tag team division in WWE, but the company seems to be putting more focus on the division in recent weeks.
This week on Raw, The Revival won a four way match which also included The B-Team, Heavy Machinery and Lucha House Party to earn a shot at the Raw Tag Team Titles.
After their big victory on Raw, the team had a little fun with the recent rumors about their WWE status when they joked about leaving Raw in a backstage interview.
“The rumors are true,” Scott Dawson said. “Dash and myself, The Revival, we plan on leaving Monday Night Raw as the Raw Tag Team Champions.”
As of this writing WWE has not revealed when The Revival will be getting their title shot. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
