As you may know by now, Sting surprised Seth Rollins and challenged him for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions.
However, the original plans for the WCW legend was to have him become Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns mystery partner during their 6 man tag match. WWE liked the pairing of Sting and Bray Wyatt but decided to move him to the main event instead.
As we noted earlier, WWE may have spoiled who Ambrose and Reigns may have in their corner. Don’t be surprised however if it ends up being a familiar bearded monster as Erick Rowan is also saying that he could be cleared to wrestle before Night of Champions.
That was what I was thinking…Rowan coming back and teaming with Reigns and Ambrose. “The New Shield” maybe?
