As WWE has mentioned, Sami Zayn injured his shoulder last night on Raw and will be getting a MRI today. The injury occurred while Sami was raising his arms during his entrance and that’s where something went wrong.
As was seen on Raw, Sami was checked on by a trainer during the match after the referee threw up the “X” symbol. Sami worked through the injury and appeared for Pat Patterson Appreciation Night after Raw but had his shoulder bandaged up.
WWE is calling last night Sami Zayn’s Raw debut but it’s not clear if he will be on the main roster for good following last night’s match. He’s scheduled for upcoming WWE tapings which could change depending on the status of his injury.
