Last week WWE released quite a few talents, including former Raw Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
It’s not exactly clear what the future holds at this point in time for the duo, but Anderson seemingly teased a return to NJPW when he posted the following video on Twitter:

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there’s currently no deal in place for Gallows and Anderson to return.
It’s being said that under normal circumstances a deal for a return would be a given, but due to the current situation no offer has been made.
