Sunny is very outspoken, to say the least, and she certainly has plenty of opinions to spare. As the debate concerning intergender wrestling wages on, the WWE Hall Of Famer certainly has an idea of what is appropriate in the pro wrestling business and she recently took to Facebook to let it all hang out in a manner of speaking.
“[Intergender matches are] the most ridiculous stupid absurd most damaging thing to can ever happen to our business. That’s why it’s all going to sh*t in a handbasket so fast. Anyone who supports this should bury themselves alive.”
Sunny was directing much of her hatred toward The World’s Cutest Tag Team consisting of Joey Ryan and Candice LeRae. Although that team very well might be no more due to WWE signing LeRae to a NXT contract.
Sunny also took some shots at the newly signed NXT star saying that she was too ugly for the main roster while also throwing some shade at Bayley in the process.
“And she was signed to ‘developmental’ right? Which means she’s too ugly to ever make the big show. Unless they give the girl some MAJOR plastic surgery. IE Bayley. Sorry. Had to be said.”
All in all, Sunny doesn’t believe Joey Ryan’s claims that he made $200,000 last year on the indie wrestling circuit. She went on to try and prove her points but it is hard to read too much into her words considering all the sour grapes that might be associated with her statements.
“Don’t you all realize that wrestling is a work and all wrestlers lie and exaggerate? I highly doubt he makes anywhere close to that. There is no money on the indies scene especially for someone who is 5’4 and never made it to the big show. And no. TNA is NOT the big show. You’re forgetting who you’re talking to here. I’ve been around for 28 years.”
