Hulk Hogan has had a wild year. He was fired by WWE last summer and he just recently won a lawsuit against Gawker. TMZ recently spoke to WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and they asked him if there’s any chance Hogan could return to the company that made him a star.

“Hulk Hogan’s had a tremendous run.” Austin said. “He got into some issues. Maybe in time when all that washes away he’ll make a comeback.”

TMZ then asked Austin if he thinks we could see Hogan return to WWE in the next year.

“That’s up to Vince, he’s a lot smarter than I am. He’s the one who’s gotta weather the storm, since it is a public company now. How soon or how long does it take for something like that to be forgotten, let alone just forgiven? You can never forget it, but can you forgive it? Yes. We’ll see what happens. I’ll leave that to them.”

Steve Austin admitted that he’s not all that close with Hulk Hogan, but he vouched for him saying that he doesn’t think he has what it takes to be malicious.

“Hulk Hogan and I don’t sit and call or text each other every day, but I really don’t think the guy has a malicious bone in his body. Had a bad day? No doubt.” Austin added.
