Over the years fans have seen some interesting gimmicks on WWE programming and back in 2005 a tag team known as The D*cks debuted on the Friday Night SmackDown brand. The team was made up of Tank Toland and Chad Wicks who went on to be known as James D*ck and Chad D*ck respectively.

A name like The D*cks is sure to get the attention of just about anyone, and Tank Toland recently explained on the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast that he tried his best to make some changes to the name, but Stephanie McMahon was adamant about sticking with the names that were presented to the team.

“I was like, ‘Steph, can we at least spell it Dix?’ and she’s like, ‘No, it’s gotta be the correct spelling.’ I was like, ‘All right.’ She’s like, ‘It’s gonna be Chad D*ck and you’re gonna be James D*ck.’ I was like, ‘All right, I guess I’m gonna be James D*ck.'”

“It wasn’t John D*ck, which is my real name, because there’s already John Cena, John Bradshaw. My whole thing was why couldn’t you have called me Tank D*ck? I just don’t get it. Tank D*ck would have at least been cool, like Tank D*ck, you know? But yeah, so it is what it is.”

Together as The D*cks both men tried their best to work with the Chippendales inspired gimmick that they were given, but unfortunately their run on the main roster didn’t last long as they were called up in 2005 then released in February of 2006.
