Glen Jacobs has been busy focusing on his duties as mayor of Knox County, TN, but he recently made his return to WWE programming to back up The Undertaker in his match against Triple H at Super Show-Down.
In a few weeks Kane and The Undertaker are set to team up to face DX at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, but the event has been a hot topic as of late due to the disappearance of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The Washington Post recently reported that Turkish officials had audio and video which suggest that Jamal was killed.
There’s suspicion that the Saudi government may have been involved in the disappearance, but Saudi officials have denied any involvement.
Crown Jewel is currently set to move forward, and a spokesman for Kane confirmed he’s still planning on wrestling at the event, and he also issued the following statement to Knox News:
“Mayor Jacobs won’t speculate on Mr. Khashoggi’s disappearance,” spokesman Rob Link said. “However, he and his family are in the mayor’s thoughts and prayers.”
