The next NXT Takeover event will take place the night before the Royal Rumble, and it will be titled NXT Takeover: San Antonio. So far no matches have been officially announced for the show, but it looks like Bobby Roode will be challenging Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship at the event

During the tapings a series of matches was held to determine the new number 1 contender for the title, and the series culminated in a fatal 4-way match. Bobby Roode, Andrade “Cien” Almas, Tye Dillinger and Roderick Strong all competed in the fatal 4-way, and it was Roode who won.
The fatal 4-way match should air on the December 21st episode of NXT, and it looks like Bobby Roode will be getting his title shot at Takeover in January.
Samoa Joe is also set to defend his NXT Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at the NXT live event in Osaka, Japan this weekend.
