Now that Money in the Bank has come and gone all eyes are looking ahead to the SummerSlam premium live event which is set to take place from Detroit next month. WWE reportedly has most of the card mapped out and it looks like another title match is being planned for the show.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s World Championship is planned for SummerSlam this year. It was also noted that plans could change as some matches planned for SummerSlam could be moved to TV at the last minute.
According to sources matches are planned for SummerSlam, but “there is a lot of competition to get on the show.” Other matches currently planned for SummerSlam include the following:
Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso
Gunther vs Drew McIntyre
Asuka vs Charlotte Flair vs Bianca Belair
Shayna Baszler vs Ronda Rousey
Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar
Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch
Logan Paul vs Ricochet
