A few weeks ago Triple H unveiled the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt and he declared that a new champion would be crowned at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. A tournament was then held and AJ Styles and Seth Rollins both managed to advance to the finals.
AJ Styles will face off against Seth Rollins today and a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned. According to PWInsider the current plan is for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match to open the Night of Champions premium live event.

There’s currently no word on which match will be closing the show, but WWE has been promoting a “triple main event” with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match and Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar.
