This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be the first show for the blue brand after WrestleMania 39 and it should be interesting to say the least. At WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes in the main event, but it doesn’t sound like fans should expect to see him tonight.
The WRKD Wrestling account is reporting that there are no plans for The Tribal Chief to appear on SmackDown this week. However, it is also being reported that there will be a segment on SmackDown that will further the tension between Jey Uso and Paul Heyman

WWE has announced that Triple H will be making an announcement to kick off SmackDown, and that Jey Uso will be going one on one with Sami Zayn. WWE is focusing on the following points for the show tonight:

– Triple H to address WWE Universe on SmackDown
– Rey Mysterio taps Santos Escobar in matchup against Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest
– New SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley claims her throne on SmackDown
– Conquering heroes Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens return to SmackDown as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions
– Imperium and Brawling Brutes set to throw down in Six-Man Tag Team clash
