There’s a lot of anticipation heading into SmackDown tonight as The Rock has confirmed that he will be appearing on the show. SmackDown will take place from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, and it sounds like The Final Boss could be making a major announcement during the broadcast.
Ahead of SmackDown tonight WrestleVotes is reporting that all signs point to The Rock officially announcing that WrestleMania 42 will be held in New Orleans next year.

After The Rock announced his appearance on SmackDown on Thursday night he dropped another interesting comment on Instagram. The Final Boss did allude to a “big beautiful gift” for New Orleans, and he also teased that he’ll be targeting a specific WWE Superstar tonight when he posted the following:
“The Final Boss is coming to handle business, deliver a big beautiful gift to the city of New Orleans and f*** up a certain someone’s life with the Final Boss gospel.
#smackdown”
In addition to The Rock’s appearance on SmackDown it’s been confirmed that Jimmy Uso will be taking on Drew McIntyre, and DIY will be defending the WWE Tag Team Championship against Pretty Deadly. Cody Rhodes will also be in action as he’s set to team with Damian Priest and Braun Strowman to take on Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga.
