The WWE main roster is loaded with talent right now, but it’s been a while since fans have seen AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One was written off TV a number of weeks ago after he was attacked by The Bloodline and he hasn’t been seen since. However, it seems that AJ Styles is set to return sooner than later.
PWInsider Elite is reporting that AJ Styles is currently penciled in to return on the 11/10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Columbus, Ohio. It was also noted that AJ Styles is expected to be back regularly from that point on.
Prior to AJ being written off TV he had formed an alliance with John Cena and it seemed that they were set to battle The Bloodline together. With AJ Styles out LA Knight stepped up to help Cena battle The Bloodline and Knight is currently set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel this weekend.
There’s currently no word on what WWE has planned for AJ Styles when he returns, but it’s safe to say that he has unfinished business with The Bloodline.
