The last few weeks have been exciting for wrestling fans and the action will continue on Friday when WWE Superstar Spectacle takes place from India. WWE stars such as Kevin Owens, John Cena and Seth Rollins are set to compete at the event, and it looks like an interesting name is set to return during the show.
PWInsider is reporting that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali is expected to be involved with Superstar Spectacle in some capacity.
The Great Khali first signed with WWE in 2006 and he went on to feud with big names such as The Undertaker, John Cena, Batista and more. He went on to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2007 by winning a battle royal for the vacant title. In the years that followed Khali was used fairly regularly in various roles on WWE programming before his contract expired in 2014.
The Great Khali returned in 2017 to help Jinder Mahal at WWE Payback, and he last competed when he entered the Greatest Royal Rumble match in April of 2018. In 2021 The Great Khal was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
