The World Title Series finally came to an end on Tuesday as EC3 became TNA World Champion for the second time after beating Matt Hardy. But unfortunately for EC3 it looks like his title reign will be short lived.
Matt Hardy defeated EC3 to become the new TNA World Champion during the Impact tapings on Friday. Hardy won the belt with help from Tyrus who turned on EC3. This was described as a double turn with Hardy going heel and EC3 going face.
The match will likely air on the January 26 episode of Impact.
