This week’s episode of NXT was the second week of the NXT Revenge special and the show featured a big main event. Sol Ruca faced off against Zaria in a last woman standing match, and Zaria was the one who ultimately picked up the win over her former friend.
In the closing moments of the match Sol Ruca and Zaria were battling on a platform 15 feet in the air with two tables set up on the floor below. For a moment it seemed that Sol and Zaria were back on the same page as they embraced one another and appeared to be on the verge of tears.
However, Zaria turned on Sol Ruca and pushed her off the platform sending Sol crashing down to the tables below. Unfortunately for Sol she only crashed through one of the tables while her head bounced off the second table.
There was some major concern for Sol Ruca’s health following the show, and she recently shared a new photo on Instagram confirming that she had to get eight staples in order to close a wound in the back of her head.
Sol Ruca debuted on Monday Night Raw earlier this week when she faced off against Liv Morgan in a singles match. At this point it’s not clear how long she might be sidelined due to the injury.
