Earlier this month the Money in the Bank premium live event aired from Las Vegas, and Liv Morgan won the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Morgan cashed in on Ronda Rousey shortly after and she managed to defeat Rousey to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Ronda Rousey finally got her rematch for the SmackDown Women’s Title match at SummerSlam, but the match ended in controversy. Throughout the match Rousey dominated Liv and focused on her arm. Ronda locked in the armbar several times, and she tried to wear Liv Morgan down.
The end of the match came when Ronda Rousey locked in the armbar on Liv, but Liv stood up and pressed Ronda’s shoulders into the mat. Liv tapped out as the referee counted three while Ronda’s shoulders were down, and Liv Morgan was announced as the winner of the match.
After the match ended Ronda Rousey snapped and put Liv Morgan and a referee in the armbar. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
