Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have come a long way since The Shield split up. All three men have become WWE World Champion, and all three men are currently fan-favorites.
It’s being reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that with all three men working as babyfaces, there’s talk of possibly doing a Shield reunion spot at an upcoming dual-brand pay-per-view such as Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble.
Following the WWE draft Dean Ambrose is currently on SmackDown with Rollins and Reigns on Raw. The Shield briefly reunited for a six-man tag team match against The Wyatt Family on Raw last October, but their temporary alliance was shaky at best. They also briefly worked together during the fatal 4-way main event of Payback 2015 when they teamed up to power bomb Randy Orton through a table.
It was also reported by the Observer that WWE may be holding a NXT Takeover special at The Theater in New York City, as well as a show in Boston. The next NXT Takeover event will be NXT Takeover: Toronto which is set to air live on the WWE Network on Nov. 19, the night before Survivor Series.
Wednesday night TJ Perkins won the inaugural Cruiserweight Classic and became the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
Raw General Manager Mick Foley praised Daniel Bryan and Mauro Ranallo’s commentary during the tournament, and he made a comment about possibly hiring them for Raw.

Of course Raw already has a qualified commentator in Corey Graves, and Graves fired back at Mick Foley with the following:
Yeah Mick. Do that. It's not like you have someone at the table already who knows what they're talking about. https://t.co/pENrWnuUZD
