WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels recently spoke to Vince Russo for his podcast on Podcast One and he talked about why he has no desire to return and more.
Ever since Shawn Michaels wrestled his last match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26 fans have been asking him to get into the ring one more time. Over the years Michaels has insisted that he’s done for good and he hasn’t changed his tune.
“Everybody asks me, ‘Do you miss it?’ No, I don’t miss it, because what’s on TV now isn’t what I used to do. So it’s easy not to miss.” Michaels said.
Michaels also brought up how hardcore fans will complain about the show but continue to tune in.
“I get what those hardcore fans say and they don’t like it, but at the same time, and I’m gonna get a ton of heat for this, but it is true: You DO keep watching. The ratings may go down, but we’re not losing you.” Michaels added.

But you’re in the minority. As much as people are bitching, the arenas are still full and people do still watch. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t have anything to bitch about.
