For months now Shane McMahon has been feuding with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, and his feud with the two SmackDown Live Superstars has put him at odds with General Manager Daniel Bryan.
It’s no big secret that Bryan and McMahon haven’t been on the same page, and Bryan gave Owens and Zayn yet another opportunity on SmackDown Live this week. Zayn and Owens faced off in the main event to determine who will challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Fastlane, but after the match ended in a DQ, Bryan announced that AJ will defend against both Zayn and Owens in a triple threat match.
Apparently Shane McMahon didn’t like that idea very much, so he’s decided to switch things up. It was recently announced that Dolph Ziggler will be making his return to SmackDown Live next week, and he will be wrestling Baron Corbin. Shane McMahon has just added a huge stipulation to the match.
Shane has announced that the winner of Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin will be getting a WWE Title shot at Fastlane, and the match will now be a fatal 4 way instead of a triple threat.
An unexpected end to #SDLive with a triple threat match made for #WWEFastlane…I’m going to make a bit more interesting.
Next week: @BaronCorbinWWE vs. @HEELZiggler. The winner is added to the match and makes it a #Fatal4Way for the @WWE title.

As Shane said in his tweet, he’s looking to make things a little more interesting, and it’s safe to say he’s done just that.
