Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt had a pretty intense rivalry but many people thought WWE pulled the plug too soon, but Seth Rollins recently explained why the feud ended so quickly.

When Bray Wyatt started playing his mind games with Seth Rollins it resulted in a few weeks of very fun programming. Bray talked in his usual amazing metaphors and sought out to expose Seth Rollins and make him pay for his transgressions.

These two WWE Superstars were a perfect pair in the ring and their styles matched up very well. They had a match at WWE Great Balls Of Fire which Bray Wyatt won. Seth Rollins won the return match on Raw and that seemed to be the end of it.

They went their separate ways and continued down their own unique paths as Superstars. Those two might have the chance of locking up in the future because they very well could have unfinished business. But for now, it seems as though WWE dropped the feud in a manner some thought was premature.

Seth Rollins recently went into some detail about his rivalry with Bray Wyatt and explained why it ended so suddenly while he was a guest on the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast.

“I believe what the plan was for me and Bray Wyatt to go a few pay-per-views and then, whatever happened, happened. Something changed and they shuffled the deck and they ended up having to re-position, which actually worked out much better for me in my personal opinion. But yeah, its been almost a month or so that I’ve kind of known that we were heading in this direction.”

Seth Rollins is a Raw Tag Team Champion alongside fellow Shield member Dean Ambrose. He seems to be doing pretty well at this point and remains one of the most popular babyfaces on the Raw roster.

On the other hand, Bray Wyatt is still up to his usual tricks. He initiated a feud with Finn Balor which continues to this day. But as time marches on you can never totally write these two off because they’re sure to meet again at a top level sooner or later.
