This week on Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line when he faced off against Jinder Mahal and it was Seth who walked out with the gold.

PW Torch is reporting that Seth Rollins suffered a legitimate injury to his left leg late into the match with Jinder Mahal on Monday Night Raw. Sources at Raw noted that Rollins was helped to the back, but eventually put weight on his leg.

Seth Rollins is reportedly walking on his own with a limp and will be further evaluated. According to multiple sources Seth Rollins is neither overly pessimistic or optimistic about the severity of the injury. Even though Seth is said to be bummed he still has a positive attitude about the situation.

At this point in time the severity of the injury is unknown and it’s not clear if he will end up missing time in the ring. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Seth Rollins is set to undergo a MRI. The injury could end up being major or minor, but the extent of the injury won’t be known until the MRI results come back.

If Seth Rollins is out of action for an extended period of time his absence could drastically alter plans for WrestleMania 40 as it’s rumored that Seth could be facing CM Punk on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Stay tuned for updates.
