WWE just sent out a message proclaiming that Seth Rollins re-injured his knee during the closing moments of the post-Royal Rumble Raw when Samoa Joe made his debut to attack the Rollins.
In the release WWE says:
“Seth Rollins’ right knee was re-injured during Samoa Joe’s ambush at the conclusion of this Monday Night’s Raw. WWE.com can now confirm confirm that the attack occurred as Rollins was headed to the ring to finally confront Triple H, who cost the Architect a WWE Universal Championship opportunity back in August.”
WWE.com cameras captured footage of Rollins leaving the Laredo Energy Arena Monday night, but no specific details on the former Shield member’s condition has been revealed.
There is no word on whether or not this is a shoot or a work, but WWE.com usually doesn’t send out push notifications unless it’s serious.
You can check out footage of Seth Rollins leaving the arena on crutches below, and we will have updates on Seth’s condition as they become available.
