This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured an appearance from Gunther who hyped up his upcoming match with Goldberg. Gunther said that after he beats Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event, he will be the one asking who’s next. Seth Rollins’ music then hit and Seth made his way out with Paul Heyman by his side. Heyman was holding a new custom black Money in the Bank briefcase with gold letters and Seth’s logo on it.
The fans sang Seth’s song as he called for the mic. Gunther joked that Heyman and Rollins flew to Saudi Arabia to accomplish nothing at all. Seth Rollins congratulated Gunther on winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He pointed out that he’s made it his mission to make sure CM Punk doesn’t win a championship, and he flew across the world to stand on that business.
Seth Rollins said that when he won the Money in the Bank contract he told the world it would be an all out assault on both world titles. He then congratulated Gunther again.
CM Punk’s music hit to a big reaction from the crowd. Punk ran down to the ring and immediately started brawling with Rollins as Gunther looked on from the corner. Rollins rolled out of the ring and left through the crowd as Punk called him a coward.
As CM Punk was leaving the ring Gunther grabbed his arm, so Punk shoved Gunther to the mat. Punk told him to stay out of his way as he left the ring.
Seth Rollins looked on from the crowd and LA Knight popped up behind him. Knight attacked Rollins and they battled into the concourse.
