Sasha Banks is one of the top stars on Raw and although she might not be in the title picture all the time, her fans will always call her champ because they know she’s The Boss. Banks is more than just Snoop Dogg’s cousin and continues to deliver on a nightly basis in the ring including a history-making match against Alexa Bliss in Abu Dhabi this week where she and Bliss became the first two females to wrestle in the country.
Pratyay from Sportskeeda had the chance to speak to Sasha Banks the day after her history-making match in Abu Dhabi. During the interview, Sasha Banks was asked about the possible inclusion of MMA’s 4 Horsewomen in WWE and Banks had a very interesting comment about Ronda Rousey.
Apparently, Banks thinks she can knock Rowdy Ronda out. It’s interesting to note that Banks wasn’t even a part of the confrontation outside of the Mae Young Classic because she was touring New Zealand and Australia hyping up an upcoming tour at the time.
“I think anything is possible here in the WWE. I’ve heard rumors of Ronda Rousey coming here and they just signed Shayna so I say, bring it. But, they’re not us and they’ll never be us and they’re not wrestlers so good luck booboos. Actually, I know Brazilian jiu-jitsu and I’m really strong, so I think I can knock out Ronda Rousey in a heartbeat. Boom.”
When asked about her thoughts concerning a first-ever female Royal Rumble taking place in January, The Boss seemed very optimistic that we’d be seeing something like that. Of course, we’ll just have to see because, in the end, it’s all up to Vince McMahon.
“Yes, I do actually [think we’ll get a female Royal Rumble] and that’s coming up in January so we’ll see what happens.“
