Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Universal Champion, but he’s not a full-time WWE Superstar. Some fans have a problem with the fact that Brock is able to hold the belt despite the fact that he doesn’t appear on Raw this week, but others seem to be fine with the way WWE presents The Beast Incarnate as a special attraction.

One person who doesn’t have a problem with Brock Lesnar’s part-time status is Samoa Joe. The Samoan Submission Machine worked with Brock Lesnar for most of the summer when he challenged him for the Universal Championship at Great Balls of Fire, and once again at SummerSlam in the fatal four way main event, so he knows Brock well.

Joe recently spoke to USA Today’s For The Win about Brock Lesnar’s title reign, and he said that there is a mystique to Lesnar due to the fact that he’s not on TV that much.

“You go to the Hulk Hogan era reigns, and I definitely didn’t see him on TV every week. There is a mystique to him not being on TV that much. When he does make appearances, it’s usually for purposeful reasons. That’s been the big theme for Brock. You hear he’s not here, but if you look back at the shows, he’s here when it counts and when I need to get my hands on him. As long as that still happens, I’m good with that.”

Do you agree with Samoa Joe, or would you rather see Brock Lesnar appear on Raw every week? Sound off in the comments below.
