The last few days have certainly been eventful for Samantha Irvin as she announced her departure from WWE ahead of Monday Night Raw last week. Irvin’s departure has been a hot topic among wrestling fans with some questioning whether or not she was looking to make the jump to All Elite Wrestling. However, Samantha Irvin’s fiance Ricochet recently took to social media to declare that Irvin is not AEW bound.
Ricochet left WWE months ago and debuted with AEW at the All In pay-per-view back in August. One fan on X joked that Ricochet is now getting paid in “pizza crusts” to which Samantha Irvin replied, “Crazy you think he was making more at WWE.”
After the fan responded with a comment about Ricochet wrestling in “empty arenas” Irvin posted the following:
“When he was at WWE all he ever heard was that he was a jobber or he was in catering. Now he’s actually paid well to put on matches he likes. He is doing great and I’m really proud of him. Also I went to the show last night and the crowd was having fun. Not everyone wants to be famous doing something they don’t enjoy.”
