Rusev had a decent run with WWE, but unfortunately his run with the company came to an end back in April when he was officially released from his contract.

Since then the former United States Champion has stayed away from the wrestling ring, but he’s still active on Twitch and his social media accounts.

The official WWE Twitter account recently posted a video of Roman Reigns vs. Rusev from the 2016 Clash of Champions pay-per-view, and in the tweet Roman Reigns was tagged while Rusev was not.

Rusev addressed the snub during a recent Twitch stream, and he made it clear that he thinks WWE’s social media policy is stupid.

“I think it’s so, so, so stupid because I don’t work for WWE, but I still get WWE checks every quarter like the merch and stuff they still sell it and they still send me money. I ain’t freaking dead either so why wouldn’t you tag me? Why wouldn’t you use the tag? Why wouldn’t you do that? I’m just trying to understand. It’s not like I work for somebody else like I work for TNA [Impact Wrestling] and they don’t want to promote me. Yeah, I get that, but I am here jobless.”

WWE has a history of not acknowledging talents outside the WWE bubble, so the snub is no surprise.

But Rusev does make a good point, as he doesn’t currently work for a wrestling promotion, and he’s indicated that he’s not interested in being a wrestler at the moment. Only time will tell if he returns to the ring.
