WrestleMania 33 was a pay-per-view that was loaded with big matches, but many fans were surprised to see John Cena team up with Nikki Bella and wrestle The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team match.
Cena has worked hard to earn his nickname Big Match John, and some fans felt that the match just wasn’t big enough for the 16 time WWE World Champion.
With WrestleMania season right around the corner, everyone’s trying to figure out what the card is going to look like for WrestleMania 34, and it sounds like John Cena could end up in one of the biggest matches on the show.
There’s been speculation that Cena could end up facing WWE Champion AJ Styles at the Show of Shows, but it was recently reported that Cena’s match will be even bigger than the WWE Championship match.
At this point his opponent is unknown, but The Undertaker, Goldberg, Batista and even Hulk Hogan are a few of the names who have been rumored for the spot.
This year The Undertaker lost to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 33, and he left wrestling fans to wonder whether or not he had officially retired after the match.
As of right now, neither WWE nor Taker himself have officially confirmed that he’s retired from in-ring competition, but many seem to be convinced that he’s done.
For what it’s worth, WrestleVotes, a Twitter account that has broken news in the past, recently noted that Taker vs. Cena is not definite, but it is something that’s reportedly “one the table.”
Hearing Taker vs Cena is not definite but certainly “on the table”. Many in WWE are still convinced Taker is done, hip surgery or not. Could be a result of his direct relationship with Vince. He only needs to tell him, & no one else. And Vince keeps everything w/ Taker hush.

Of course there have been several rumors floating around regarding The Undertaker’s status over the past few months, but no one knows for sure what the future holds for The Deadman.
Hopefully we’ll be getting more answers regarding what’s next for The Undertaker when he appears on the 25th anniversary episode of Raw.
