Donald Trump recently won the 2016 presidential election, and he is set to become the 45th President of the United States in 2017. Donald Trump has a long history with the WWE and the McMahons, and Trump is the first WWE Hall of Famer to become President-elect. Although Vince McMahon has stayed quiet in regards to Donald Trump’s big election win, his wife Linda McMahon took to Twitter to congratulate her friend on his victory.

Donald Trump and the McMahons have worked together on various WWE events, and Donald Trump has made several appearances on WWE programming over the years. But now it looks like there’s a possibility that Linda McMahon could be working with Trump in an entirely different capacity.

According to The Daily Star, Linda McMahon is one of the names that’s being considered for a position in Trump’s cabinet in the Commerce Department.

Of course this is just a rumor, but Linda McMahon is no stranger to politics. McMahon made two runs for a seat in the United States Senate, on behalf of the state of Connecticut, but she was unsuccessful.

Linda McMahon has also been a big Trump supporter, as she donated $6 million to pro-Trump super PAC, Rebuilding America Now, earlier this year. The McMahons also donated $6 million to the Donald J. Trump Foundation between 2007 and 2009.
