Vince McMahon has been officially done with WWE for some time now and there’s been a lot of speculation regarding what the future holds for the former Royal Rumble winner.
During a recent episode of the 83 Weeks podcast Conrad Thompson and Eric Bischoff discussed some of the talk surrounding Vince McMahon, more specifically rumors of McMahon potentially bringing a new wrestling show to FOX.
“There’s been lots of speculation, lots of rumor and innuendo about Vince McMahon starting a company. Should I say the quiet part out loud? There’s been lots of whispers… I don’t know what’s real and what’s not, but allegedly, Vince McMahon’s people have made contact with people who have experienced shooting wrestling — maybe cameramen, and allegedly — I don’t know if this is real or not — but the rumor mill, the whispers, say perhaps Fox is holding a spot for Vince McMahon.”
Conrad Thompson went on to note that the rumor didn’t sound real, and said that it “sounds like bulls***.” Bischoff stated that he just couldn’t imagine it happening.
Andrew Marchand of The Athletic later followed up with a statement from a spokesperson at FOX who claimed that there is no truth to rumors of Vince working with the network.
“There is a report that Vince McMahon might start a wrestling company with Fox as a partner. If McMahon is planning that or not, I don’t know, but the Fox part is not true, according to a network spokesman.”

PWInsider reported back in October that Vince was preparing to launch what was described as an “entertainment hub company” and that several WWE alumni were working with Vince McMahon on the project under the idea that it will be unveiled if his legal issues are resolved.
Stay tuned for updates.
