Enzo Amore and Big Cass were one of WWE’s most popular acts before they were released last year, and recently they’ve been working the independent scene.
WWE confirmed recently that NXT will be going live on the USA Network on Wednesday, September 18 and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE officials have been in talks with Enzo Amore and Big Cass about possibly returning to NXT.
However, there seem to be conflicting reports making the rounds as PWInsider is reporting that there is no basis to this story.
According to PWI there have been zero discussions between the two sides.
Enzo Amore recently made his return to the ring at Northeast Wrestling’s Prison Break event, and both he and Big Cass are being advertised for the September 13 NEW event in Waterbury, CT.
