WWE has had to reshuffle their creative plans due to the unfortunate injury that Seth Rollins recently suffered in Dublin. But it turns out that Rollins’ injury is also unfortunate for Roman Reigns as Reigns was finally set to win the big one at Survivor Series.

On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer claimed that Roman Reigns was set to win the WWE Championship when he faced Seth Rollins at Survivor Series.

“Roman was going to win it at Survivor Series, that was the plan, I figured it, but I didn’t know for sure, but in fact it is for sure, he was going to win it at Survivor Series” Melter said.

Of course Roman Reigns could still win the title at the pay-per-view but he obviously won’t be beating Seth Rollins for the belt. There’s no doubt that Roman will be a key player in the WWE Championship tournament so it will be interesting to see if WWE sticks with the plan and pushes forward with Roman as the champion.

  1. “I didn’t know for sure, but in fact it is for sure” = Typical Meltzer bullshit. How has this guy been able to get away with this for 30 years?
