There’s no denying that Roman Reigns has been on the run of his career over the last few years and he’s been holding the Universal Championship since he won the belt at Payback on August 30, 2020.

As of February 16, 2023 Roman Reigns has reached another huge milestone in his WWE career as he’s now been Universal Champion for over 900 days. This means that Roman Reigns has the second longest WWE World Title reign in the last 30 years behind Hulk Hogan who held the WWE Championship for 1,474 days.

Last year at WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns put his Universal Title on the line in a champion vs. champion match when he faced Brock Lesnar. The Tribal Chief managed to defeat The Beast to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, and as of today he’s been holding the WWE Title for 314 days.

Roman Reigns is currently set to defend the WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber premium live event on Saturday, February 18. If he manages to defeat Sami he will then go on to defend his titles against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 in April. Stay tuned for updates.
