Roman Reigns made history with his record breaking title reign that lasted 1,316 days, but it all came to an end on Sunday night when Cody Rhodes defeated The Tribal Chief in the night two main event of WrestleMania 40.
The Tribal Chief did not appear on the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, but The Rock did. The Final Boss confronted Cody Rhodes and he told the new champion that his story with Roman Reigns is over, but his story with The Rock is just beginning.
Roman recently posted his first comments on social media since losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 when he shared a video of himself training along with the following caption:
“Yesterday I mourned. Today is Day 1.”

There’s currently no word on when Roman Reigns will be returning to television, or what the company has planned for him when he does return. Triple H noted during the WrestleMania 40 post-show press conference that Roman Reigns is going to go on a whole new story that will blow people’s minds.
Stay tuned for more updates on Roman’s return as they become available.
