roman reigns

The Bloodline kicked off Friday Night SmackDown this week and they once again started flipping things over while they stood at the ringside area and waited for the arrival of The Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns made his way down to the ring with Paul Heyman, and then he addressed last week’s tag team match where he and Sami Zayn were defeated by John Cena & Kevin Owens.

Roman said that he wasn’t defeated, Sami was defeated. He said that Sami called his shot and guaranteed a victory, but he didn’t deliver. Reigns then followed up and said that calling his shot is something he does. He questioned why Sami Zayn is trying to do things like him. Roman asked Sami if he wants to be him, and if he wants to be The Tribal Chief.

Reigns continued to repeat the same questions a few times before he snapped and started screaming at Sami Zayn while asking “Do you think you’re me? Do you want to be me? Do you want to be The Tribal Chief?” Sami looked scared and confused.

Kevin Owens’ music hit which caused Roman to stop screaming. Owens told Roman that his anger is misdirected at Sami Zayn and it’s him Roman should be mad at. He challenged The Tribal Chief to an Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match at the Royal Rumble. The match was later confirmed by WWE.

Later during the show Paul Heyman was seen telling Sami Zayn that he can’t speak to Roman Reigns. The Usos walked into Roman’s locker room, but Sami was not allowed to enter.

Eventually Roman cooled down and invited Sami into the room then apologized to Sami for yelling at him in front of the whole world. He said Kevin Owens was right, he’s not mad at Sami, he’s mad at KO. The Tribal Chief said they’re going to fix the KO problem then Paul Heyman told Sami he’s going to face Kevin Owens next week on SmackDown.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
