Last month Roman Reigns entered the men’s Royal Rumble match and he and Seth Rollins were eliminated by CM Punk who was eliminated shortly after. Seth Rollins decided to take his aggression out on Roman Reigns when he hit Reigns with a Stomp on the steel ring steps, and it was later announced that The Tribal Chief was out of action indefinitely.
This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Madison Square Garden, and CM Punk faced off against Seth Rollins in a steel cage match in the main event. The match came to an end when Roman Reigns ran through the crowd and pulled Seth Rollins out of the cage through the door. Rollins was then declared the winner, and Reigns laid out both Rollins and Punk to end the show.
Following his big return on Monday Night Raw, The Tribal Chief broke his silence when he posted the following on social media:
“MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!!!! Acknowledge the Greatest box office attraction in WWE history and his Wiseman!”
For some time now it’s been rumored that Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Seth Rollins are set to face off in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 41. Following Raw it certainly seems that WWE is heading in that direction, so it will be interesting to see how things play out in the weeks to come.
