Roman Reigns has been with WWE for a long time and he’s had his fair share of big moments. In October of 2018, Roman Reigns had to vacate the WWE Universal Championship as he revealed to fans on Raw that his leukemia had returned after 11 years of being in remission. Reigns went on hiatus and then later returned in February of 2019 as he told fans that his leukemia was in remission once again.
During a recent interview with Men’s Health, Roman Reigns revealed that he has to be careful because he’s still battling leukemia. Reigns noted that it’s under control, but it’s still present at a molecular level.
“Well, with my medical history, I have to be very careful. You know, I’m still to this day, down to the wire, fighting CML. We’re under control and we’re under the actual baseline. But to be in molecular remission, it has to be almost zeroed out. And there’s just still those minute traces, like 0.031, you know what I mean? But they count. So I still just have to be very careful and very smart.”
Roman Reigns is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and he will be stepping into the ring at Money in the Bank as he’s set to defend the title against LA Knight at the premium live event on October 10th.
