Roman Reigns is currently the top star in WWE and he brought both of his belts to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday to promote the Royal Rumble. During his appearance The Tribal Chief was asked about a possible match with The Rock and he addressed all the talk about the rumored clash.
“There’s been a huge buzz on that for a long time now. But it’s really picked up in the last couple of years. I believe he just came out with a statement saying he’s not going to be ready in time, which that’s the kind of face everyone’s making, like, hold on, this guy trains every single day. He’s huge!”
Reigns went on to say that there is a big difference between how The Rock is training and the training he would need to do to condition himself to work a match. The Tribal Chief also added that you have to condition your body to be able to fall down and he joked, “That’s number one, Dwayne. When you’re going up against Roman Reigns, you better get ready to fall down.”
As of this writing the belief is that The Rock won’t be working WrestleMania this year as he’s indicated that he won’t be able to get ready for a match in time.
