A few weeks ago The Rock called out one of his “Fast-8” co-stars on Instagram, saying that his male co-stars weren’t acting professional on the set. Everyone wondered who The Rock was talking about, and as the days rolled on, reports hit the internet claiming that Rock was talking about Vin Diesel.
The Vin Diesel/Rock feud has received a lot of coverage in the media recently, and Life & Style is reporting that The Rock and Diesel are working everybody to build up to a wrestling match.
According to the report, Life & Style’s inside sources say that the feud is really just a “huge prank” and they’re just doing it for publicity.
The insider is quoted as saying the following:
“The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8,”
WrestleMania 33 is scheduled for April 2, 2017 and “Fast-8” is set to hit theaters on April 14, 2017. It remains to be seen if this match will actually go down, but a few weeks ago WWE was gauging fan interest asking fans in a poll where they would like to see The Rock and Vin Diesel settle their issues. The vast majority of fans who participated said that they would like to see them settle the score at WrestleMania.
