The Rock may not be a full time wrestler anymore, but he certainly left an impression on the fans during his time in the ring. Throughout his WWE career he faced some of the biggest names in the business including Steve Austin, Triple H, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and of course Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan and The Rock faced off at WrestleMania 18, and even though the match wasn’t a technical classic by any means, some would argue that the two wrestling icons stole the show that night as the crowd went absolutely crazy for their match.
Rock vs. Hogan was special, that’s for sure, and Hulk Hogan recently took to Twitter to say that it’s one of his favorite matches of all time.

The Rock was already a big star walking into the match, but there’s no denying that a big win over Hulk Hogan helped his career. The former WWE Champion thanked Hogan for the match, and he also joked that he still has scars from the weight belt that was used as a weapon during their battle.

Hogan responded by letting Rock know that at WrestleMania 18 he didn’t just pick up a win over the Hulkster, he also earned his respect.

From an X’s and O’s standpoint, it was nothing special. But the atmosphere and electricity in the building was insane.
