We recently reported how The Rock laid claim to an extremely long golf drive. Naturally, there were plenty who thought he was full of it. Pro golfing legend John Daly even took some time to speak to TMZ about how ludicrous he thought The Rock’s claims were.

Golf Digest, a leading pro golf magazine tweeted about it as shown above, and it set off a new wave of doubt concerning The Rock’s claims. Some people thought Rocky was full of himself when he made that claim, others just loved John Daly’s epic response.
We can’t lie, it’s a little far-fetched for us to believe too unless he’s been sneaking in a lot of golf lessons we don’t know about. For that matter, he should probably star as Tiger Woods in a biopic or something. We can’t wait to see how they portray the scene when Elin whacks him with a 9 iron as Tiger Rock runs from the house and into the Escalade.
Some people are just good at everything they do, and Rock certainly seems like that kind of person. But those numbers reflect a kind of skill and luck that is almost other-worldly.
We really do love The Rock around here. He’s popping up everywhere. He has a new Fast And The Furious movie coming out, and he’s working on television projects all over the place. If he can have all the time for that and to keep clanging and banging in the gym for his 3:00am workouts, then who knows if he might be able to squeeze pro golf lessons too.
The Rock was his pleasant self as usual in response. He replied in a lighthearted fashion while responding to John Daly’s classic remarks and his doubters.
