Rob Van Dam is the only man in history to hold the WWE and ECW World Championship simultaneously, and he’s definitely made his mark on the professional wrestling business. When Rob Van Dam was in the prime of his career he was seen as an innovator, and he lived up to that reputation.
Fans just never knew what RVD was going to do when he stepped inside the squared circle, and his style has influenced many of the wrestlers who are currently performing with WWE.
One star who looks like he picked up a thing or two from watching Rob’s matches is none other than Johnny Gargano. A clip of Johnny using the slingshot DDT has been making the rounds on Twitter, and Rob Van Dam felt the need to comment.
