Ric Flair made headlines recently as it was reported on Friday that The Nature Boy was rushed to the hospital after he fell and suffered an eye injury along with cuts on his face.
The 16 time world champion recently addressed the situation when he issued a statement thanking the doctors at Tampa General Hospital Staff, and everyone who reached out for their support.
After Ric Flair was released from the hospital, Dave Meltzer shared an update on his status on Wrestling Observer Radio as he claimed that Flair returned to the same bar he was at prior to him falling and being rushed to the hospital.
“The bar he was at is the bar he is always at. That is his place it’s right by his house. He doesn’t have to drive there. He can walk there. He goes there early in the morning, that’s his day, and he went there. He had left his phone, so he wasn’t leaving, but he went to go across the street, and fell down, and hit his head, messed up his eye really bad.”
“He’s out of the hospital. He’s ok. He’s at the same place he was yesterday morning, tonight. So, there you go. You know, it’s not even keeping him home even though he was in the hospital all night last night.”
A photo of Ric Flair sitting at the bar wearing bandages on his eye has also been making the rounds on social media.
This is legitimately sad. https://t.co/00JXJAUwiN

Ric Flair’s health has been a topic of concern throughout the week as he announced just hours before he fell that he had to cancel his scheduled appearance at Washington State Horror Con over the weekend because he’s dealing with a blood clot in his leg. The Hall of Famer noted that doctors were limiting his travel to 3 to 4 hours, and Seattle fell outside of his range.
